Today I will share some interesting part of Ramayana, may be we were not knowing about this. Even I was also ignore about this fact but I had read it in some artical so i thought to share it in my Blog. This is the story of Shree Lakshmanji.

The saga of Hanumanji's devotion is sung all over the world. Laxmanji's devotion was also amazing. Sri Rama story is not complete without the story of Laxmanji. Agastya Muni came to Ayodhya and the incident of Lanka war broke out.

Lord Shri Ram told how he killed the great heroes like Ravana and Kumbhakarna and Lakshmana also killed powerful asuras like Indrajit and Atikayya.

Agastya Muni said- Shri Ram, There was no doubt that Ravana and Kumbhakarna was Prachanda Veer, but the greatest hero was Meghnath. He had fought with Indra by being located in space and had brought him to Lanka.

When Brahma asked Indra as a donation from Indrajit, Indra was freed. Laxman killed him, so he became the greatest warrior.

Shri Ram was surprised but he was happy with the praise of brother's bravery. Still, there was curiosity in his mind that why Agastya Muni is saying that Indrajit's slaughter was more difficult than Ravana.

Agastya Muni said- Indrajit had a boon that he could only slaughtered by who.....

(1) Have not slept for fourteen years,

(2) Who has not seen the face of any woman for fourteen years, and

(3) Have not eaten for fourteen years.

Shri Ram said - But I continued to give fruits and flowers of Laxman's share regularly for fourteen years in Banavas period.

I lived in a hut with Sita, there were Lakshmana in the adjacent cottage, then he have not even seen the face of Sita, and should not have slept for fourteen years, how is this possible?

Agastya Muni smiled after understanding everything and said, Is there anything hidden from God? Actually, all the people used to sing praise of Shriram only, but Prabhu wanted that the tenacity and valor of Lakshmana should also be discussed in the house of Ayodhya.

Agastya Muni said - why not ask Lakshmanji?

Laxmanji came, Prabhu said that what you are asked will be told truthfully.

Prabhu asked- The three of us stayed together for fourteen years, how could you not see the face of Sita? How were Anahari still living, and did not sleep for 14 years? how did this happen ?

Laxmanji told- Brother, when we went to Mount Rushimook looking for MATA SITA, Sugriva asked us to identify her by showing her jewelery.

You will remember that I could not identify any ornaments except Nupur of her feet, because I never saw her above his feet.

Hear about not sleeping for fourteen years - you and mother used to sleep in a hut. I used to stand outside in the night with an arrow on a bow. When sleep tried to capture my eyes, I had blocked sleep with my arrows.

Nidra gave up and admitted that it would not touch me for fourteen years, but it would surround me when Sri Ram will crowned in Ayodhya and I would stand behind him with a parasol like a servant.

You will remember that the parasol had fallen from my hand at the time of the coronation.

Now how was I Anahari for 14 years! You used to do three parts of the fruits and flowers that I brought. You used to tell me by giving a portion, Lakshman keep the fruit.

You never asked to eat fruit - then how do I eat it without your permission?

I kept them safe. All fruits must still be kept in the same hut. On the orders of God, from the hut of Laxmanji Chitrakoot, he brought a basket of fruits and kept them in the court. Fruits were counted, there were no fruits for seven days.

God said- it means that you had taken food for seven days?

Laxmanji told about the seven fruits being deficient - fruits did not come in those seven days: -

1 - On the day we received information about the death of Father , we were not ate food as i had not brought it from forest.

2 - On the day when Ravana take away MATA SITA, who would go to fetch the fruit?

3 - On the day you were seeking the path from the sea,

7 - The day we tied in Nagpash of Indrajit and remained unconscious all day.

5 - The day Inderjit cut off the elusive Sita and we remained in mourning.

7 - The day Meghnath almost killed me with Saktipat,

7 - And the day you killed Ravana

How did we have remember of food in these days? From Vishwamitra Muni, I had learned an additional discipline - the science of living without eating. With his use, I was able to control my hunger for fourteen years, so that Indrajit was killed.
